The Position:
We are seeking candidates for a Graduate Intern position within the International Labor Standards Group at The Walt Disney Company for the summer 2011. The Graduate Intern will report to the Senior Project Analyst and will assist with administering the execution, actions, measurement and communication of a wide range of activities relating to International Labor Standards projects. This includes assisting in developing tools to track issues, interfacing with internal and external parties to initiate or obtain updates on actions, researching and identifying new techniques and resources, providing regular updates on project status, preparing data and presentations on activity and general research and analysis on labor standards issues.

The International Labor Standards Group at The Walt Disney Company is committed to the promotion and maintenance of responsible international labor practices in its licensing and direct sourcing operations throughout the world. The Ideal Candidate:
Only students who are actively enrolled in a college or university and working towards a Masters or MBA degree will be considered for this opportunity. The ideal candidate has the following skills, experience and abilities:
- Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a graduate program majoring in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Entrepreneurship, Economics, International Business, International Relations, Public Policy or other related international policy or business major.
- Prior work experience should include corporate social responsibility, policy initiatives, corporate communications or public relations.
- Prior international-related work experience or education is preferred.
- Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Project management experience and strong demonstrated research, writing, and analysis skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and a flexible approach to shifting priorities on multiple assignments.
- Demonstrated computer presentation skills (PowerPoint), analytics, and spreadsheet experience is a must.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer 2011 with a possible extension of 15-20 hours per week during the academic year.
